In January 2009 …
Alan Dickinson,
Met Office Director of Science and Technology,
said, “Our next supercomputer will bring an acceleration in action on climate change through climate mitigation and adaptation measures as a consequence of a clearer understanding of risk. Ultimately this will lead to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.”

but there was this footnote on that statement …

“When it is finally completed, around 2011 the Met Office machine will be the second most powerful machine in Britain with a total peak performance approaching 1 PetaFlop”

2011 !!!!

So it isn’t actually working yet at all !

Yet a few days ago the Julia Slingo, the Met Office’s chief scientist, was pictured posing in front of “deep black”,
(the Supercomputer) insisting that no one was pressured
to sign its petition of 1700 “zombie” scientists.

Utter Hogwash !!!

Wait a minute this is data from the “Met Office”

They were saying last week that it would be balmy
and sunny, were’nt they ? Piers Corbyn said they
were wrong, and that it would be a blizzard for the
Obaminoid visit on wednesday. Who was correct then ?

The astro-forcaster Corbyn, or the CRU conspirators
at the Met Office with their “deep black”. I heard
that because of budget cuts, they can’t afford to
turn the giant playstation on, so they just make the
figures up and hope nobody will notice.

Has anyone got a copy of the Met Office electric bill,
it would be interesting to see their power consumption.

Update on non-warming in Copenhagen: As emergency AGW conference continues, it is perhaps ironic to calmly study some weather information readily available on the internet. I apologize that the figures are not absolutely precise because they are taken from graphs at weatheronline.co.uk. Anyone can check my calculations, which took about 20 minutes and were not taxpayer funded.

In the last 28 years (as far as the online records go back), the highest December temperature in Copenhagen was 11 degrees C and that was back in 1983. Over these years, the average highest December temperature was around 7 C.

First day: a high of 7 C, exactly the same as the average high of the last 28 years and 4 degrees COOLER than the high of the last 28 years.

Second day: a high of 7 C, the same.

Third day: a high of 6 C, 5 degrees COOLER than the December high of the last 28 years.

Fourth day: a high of 6 C

Fifth day: a high of 5 C, 6 degrees COOLER than the December high of the last 28 years.

Can someone please point this out to the Met, the BBC and all the eminent and learned delegates?
